These are good strings that seem better quality than (eg) any of the strings I was sold for my Windsor GemUke back in the mid '50s. These are not fluorocarbon, or Sugar Cane, or even Red. But they tune up OK and settle down to play in tune after a day or so, which is normal. They do not last for years and years, but I have had one set on for over a year and it still plays OK, and has lasted a lot longer than any of the costly 'Red' strings I have tried. Good value, and recommended if you just need a Guitar or Uke String (or String Set) for practice or pleasure.This time I was buying a pack of single .040" strings, been experimenting with some odd ukulele tunings that needed a fat unwound string. Does the job!
